The learning curve for a software engineer at PhonePe is very steep. I joined 3 years ago, after my internship here, and was given the ownership for my projects from the very beginning. Irrespective of whether you’re an intern or employee you’re trusted with significant work. It’s what drives us to be more passionate. It helps you understand the product inside out, question more and approach the problem statement better. What makes it better is the environment that we work in- we have a lot of healthy discussions, accept everyone’s ideas and opinions and approach the problem holistically.

Rapid Growth

I joined PhonePe when it had just started to make a significant impact on the Indian market. In the time that I have been here, I have seen PhonePe go from being just a contestant to becoming one of the leading financial apps in the country. What hasn’t changed though is the energy, passion and ownership shown by each and every person at PhonePe. We are undeterred by setbacks, know how to work hard and when it’s time to have fun, we also know how to let loose. I am here to make sure employees get to do more of the latter.
